Kind and professional clinic team. Thorough visit with knowledgable provider who has good bedside manner. It was a bit heartbreaking to see that the recommendation on the after visit summary was simply "lose weight", even though I went in for issues unrelated to my weight and it wasn't discussed during my visit. As soon as I read this in my car, I sobbed the entire way home. It felt like my concerns were not valid and that there could be / only ever is one cause. Even with some validity and the best intentions, it continued to reinforce the gaslighting that the overweight patient population is subjected to by the health care community.
